The wood used is mango wood and the ceramic drawers are hand painted making each chest unique.

Mango trees mature relatively quickly compared to most trees so are an excellent source of sustainable wood, a key passion of ours. Our mango wood comes from Mango farmers who sell it off in order to make extra money to secure their future.

The drawers are prevented from being accidentally pulled out by an ingenious hook that lowers into the drawer as it is opened. To remove the drawer completely for cleaning, simply turn the chest on its back and lift out.
