Our supplier in Vietnam buys from over 60 artisan groups, nearly half of whom are from ethnic minorities, many of them living in traditional villages. These keyrings are made by the Ma people, former nomads, who have settled in Buon Go, a small village of about 200 people, many living in traditional longhouses made from bamboo and thatch. The project’s partners include WWF, CARE and Craft Link, part of the aim being to alleviate pressure on forest resources.
